Did you know that there's a bear which loves to eat bamboo? Meet the Giant Panda, a bear species like no other! They live in the thick bamboo forests of China and are known for their striking black and white fur. Surprisingly, bamboo makes up 99% of their diet, and they spend about half their day eating! Giant Pandas are pretty big, almost the size of an American black bear. When they are not eating, they love spending their time resting. Besides, these bears are solitary by nature, meaning they prefer to live alone. Did you also know that they have a longer lifespan in captivity? They live for around 15-20 years in the wild, but in captivity, they can live up to 30 years. Unfortunately, these amazing creatures are endangered due to habitat loss and low birth rates.
