Moon landing – a true story.

The lunar landing was one of the greatest achievements in human history. On July 20, 1969, astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human being to set foot on the moon, an event that captured the imagination of people all over the world.

The mission was the result of years of planning, development, and testing.The Apollo program was initiated by President John F. Kennedy in 1961 with the goal of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to Earth before the end of the decade.

The first unmanned test flight of the Apollo spacecraft was in 1966, followed by several manned missions that tested the spacecraft in low-earth orbit. The Apollo 11 mission was the culmination of this effort, with Armstrong and fellow astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin descending to the lunar surface while Michael Collins orbited above in the command module.
