Sam's Purpose
Once upon a time, a young author named Sam was sitting by his desk, staring at a blank piece of paper. He had lots of ideas, but he was unsure about the purpose of his story. Sam knew that authors write for three main reasons: to persuade, to inform, and to entertain. He wondered, should his book persuade people to be kinder to each other, inform them about the wonders of the solar system, or entertain them with a fantastical adventure? After much thought, Sam decided. He would write a story that would entertain his readers, taking them on a magical journey filled with dragons, fairies, and a hero's victorious triumph. And that, is the purpose of an author, to touch the minds and hearts of the readers.
