As a ReadTheory Certified Educator, Katie engages her students in unique ways with ReadTheory. She makes “SWAG TAGS” for students when they reach a new level. She also purchased a small trophy for the student with the most knowledge points to put on their desk all week. She prioritizes talking to students about their data and shows them where they are.

Pamela was a ReadTheory Presenter in August 2023 with her webinar entitled "How to Establish Reading Routines that Create Impact using ReadTheory." She encourages her students to go the extra mile with ReadTheory by having them rate passages and share their favorite ones. She has students complete summaries of passages, explaining the main idea to show their understanding.

Jennifer recognizes students' progress on ReadTheory with shoutouts weekly that they can either take home to show their parent/guardian or hang on the "Shoutout Wall" in class. She tracks data weekly and provides parents with a progress report every four weeks. As a special treat this year, she held a "Pancakes for Points" contest and surprised the students by cooking pancakes in class.

Jill's 92 sixth graders earned the number one scores in the state in Reading on the Georgia Milestones last year, largely thanks to ReadTheory. She has trained her students to read every word in ReadTheory's answer evaluation feedback box. They are required to complete detailed error analysis statements, explaining what they will change the next time they read and answer questions.

Now, all middle schools in her district are using the program to make significant gains in reading comprehension.

Robert's classes averaged an 81% improvement in their STAR Reading Benchmark test scores from Fall 2023 - Winter 2023 as a result of his fidelity to Read Theory. He began the Reading Olympics program at his school which rewarded all of the students for their individual progress at a special assembly. This assembly was an amazing success and was largely attended by parents.

He also uses it to differentiate instruction in English 2 Pre-AP classes for special education, gifted and talented, English language learners, and more, to challenge them at their individual reading levels.

She became a ReadTheory Certified Educator this year.

Regardless of class size, his students work on texts suited to their needs. He appreciates that ReadTheory enables personal progress by offering the right amount of challenge to the student and adjusting the level of the tasks to their ability.
