April 12th is National “Drop Everything and Read” day. This annual celebration encourages students, teachers and families to refocus a part of their day toward reading and growing. We here at ReadTheory absolutely love this idea.

We believe that supporting reading both at school and at home can make a major impact in the lives of young people. Studies show that just the presence of books in a home can be associated with higher rates of literacy, problem solving, and even math literacy in adults.

All this week, encourage your students to log in to ReadTheory and practice. Encourage students and parents to share what they’ve been reading with each other.

As a bonus, after your students log in, post the points they earned here to receive a coupon code for 25% off every purchase at ReadTheoryWorkbooks.com.
