Over time, he was moved by rivers and winds to a place with many other rocks. There, pressure and time turned Rocky and his friends into a layer of sedimentary rock. But Rocky's adventure didn't stop there. He was pushed deeper into the Earth's crust, where heat and pressure transformed him into a shiny new metamorphic rock. One day, there might be so much heat that Rocky will melt and become part of the molten rock again, ready to start the cycle anew.
