Text, Questions & Answers
Symmetry is everywhere! It's in the snowflakes that fall in winter and the wings of a butterfly. Symmetry means something is the same on both sides. In math, we see symmetry in shapes. If a shape can be folded in half and both halves match exactly, it's symmetrical! Some shapes have line symmetry, meaning they can be divided into two matching parts. Others have rotational symmetry, where they can be turned or rotated and still look the same. You can see symmetry in art, architecture, and even in your own room! Can you spot anything symmetrical around you now?
