Text, Questions & Answers
Did you know that animals have special abilities that help them survive in their environments? These are called adaptations. For example, chameleons can change their skin color to hide from predators, this is known as camouflage. Monarch butterflies have another type of adaptation. They migrate thousands of miles to warmer climates during winter. This is a behavioral adaptation. Remember, adaptations happen over a very long time, not overnight. Isn't it amazing how nature works?
