Becoming the President: A Journey
Did you know that the journey to becoming the president of the United States is a long and challenging one? It starts with the elections, where candidates campaign across the country, participating in debates to win people's votes. Once the votes are counted, the winner is inaugurated on January 20, known as Inauguration Day, in a grand ceremony attended by thousands. As president, they have many responsibilities, like signing laws, meeting foreign leaders, and making important national decisions. But, it's not all serious! They also get to live in the White House, with its own movie theater and bowling alley. Did you know that the youngest president was Theodore Roosevelt, who took office at 42? Or that John F.
