Dear Mom and Dad,
Today, we went on a school trip to the Big City Zoo! We saw so many different animals. I liked the monkeys best! They were jumping and playing. We learned that monkeys eat fruits and bugs.
We also saw a giant elephant. It was so big that it could reach the top of the trees! Our teacher told us that elephants love to eat plants and they drink a lot of water.
The best part was when we saw the baby penguin swimming. It was so cute! Did you know that penguins can't fly? But they are great swimmers.
I can't wait for our next school trip!
Love,
