List of Subprocessors and Subcontractors

ReadTheory may update this list from time to time as our use of subprocessors changes. Some subprocessors listed below process only educator or administrative data and do not receive access to student data, as indicated in the descriptions.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Provides cloud hosting and storage services for ReadTheory’s infrastructure, including the storage and processing of student data and educator data. All data is hosted within the United States.

  • Customerly – Enables in-app messaging and email communication with users for customer support purposes. Only educator data is handled by Customerly.

  • Google Workspace – Used for internal communication and customer support functions, including email, video conferencing, and voice calls.

  • Google Analytics – Used to collect website usage analytics to help understand usage patterns and improve the Website. Only educator data or non-personal usage data are processed.

  • Microsoft Clarity – Used for website analytics and user experience analysis to improve Website functionality. Only educator data or non-personal usage data are processed.

  • Pipedrive – Serves as ReadTheory’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

  • HubSpot – Serves as ReadTheory’s customer relationship management (CRM), chat, and marketing platform.

  • Stripe – Manages payment processing and subscription billing. Only educator data is handled by Stripe.

  • Slack – Utilized for internal team communication and collaboration. Only educator data is handled by Slack.

  • Asana – Project management platform used for internal task coordination and communication. Only educator data is handled by Asana.

  • Contrast – Webinar hosting and registration platform used for product demonstrations, trainings, and webinars. Only educator data is handled by Contrast.

  • Notion – Internal documentation and knowledge management platform used for operational, support, and internal collaboration purposes. May include educator business contact information and support-related information.
