Short Stories

In these reading comprehension exercises, students read a short story and then answer questions about it. Stories are comical, suspenseful, dramatic, and involve real life situations. In order to score high on these exercises, students are required to analyze intention and nuance, sequence, tone, literary technique, make logical deductions, and pay close attention to detail. Each exercise contains reading comprehension questions and vocabulary questions.
